There are four types of information system:
1. Transaction processing system
2. Management information system
3. Decision support system
4. Expert system

1. Transaction Processing System :
In the transaction processing system it can check the transaction day-to-day and their routine work is in the flow that can contains the transaction process.The transaction processing system can be based on the two factors:
a) On the online transaction processing
b) On the batch processing

2. Management Information System :
In the management information system it can check the management control level in which it can access all the current performance of any company and check their records with the help of MIS. So we can say that the overall processing of the transaction and sales will be based on this management information system.

3. Decision Support System :
In the decision support system all the important decision about the product company have to taken and handle all the situation around their environment. The decision must be in the support of the requirement of the current prospects and it will be more advanced to analyse all the detailed information of the resources they provide.

4. Expert System :
In the expert system it can belong to all the experience person who can solve the problem on the basis of their research on the product diagonsis. The expert consultant can give their unique ideas about the sales of the product so the companies growth will increase.

All these systems are important for the marketing but the Management Information System is one the most important reason for the sales so we can say that MIS of business can used for the poor sales.
