The possible errors in standard compaction test area

1) The number of blows given to the soil is not correct.

2) Loss of moisture content of the soil samples to be placed in the oven for measuring moisture content between taking the soil sample and keeping it in the oven.

3) Accuracy of the digital weighing machine to measure the weight.

4) The number of blows being concentrated at the center of the mould. The blows should be given uniformly throughout the mould area.
