Answer #1

There are following principle parameters in the mix design for under water concreting:

1)  Water to fines Ratio : Water to fines ratio should be in the range of  .85-1 for proper cohesiveness.

2) Particle packing characteristics : Sand content , gradient size and shape are included in particle packing characteristics.

3) Dispersion characteristics : By proper use of high range water reducers ( HRWR ) , Set retarders and proper use of admixture we can achieve dispersion characteristics.

You now know we consider both main effects and interactions in factorial designs. I hope that it is apparent that we also have a hypothesis (and null hypothesis) for each main effect as well as the interaction. Think about a 2 X 2 design. For this Pause Problem, first describe any study (made up or a real one) that has a 2 X 2 design (just don’t use the one from your lab!), and then write out the three null...

Write a Python function called sumNxN with three parameters. The first parameter is a nested list (matrix) representing a matrix of size N x N. The second parameter is the integer N, and the third is a list of N zeros. Modify the list of zeros so that each entry is the sum of the corresponding column. There is no return. Note: You may assume the sizes provided are all correct.
