ANSWER-
When you shine invisible unltraviolet light on certain objects, they glow with brilliant colors. This behavior may be explained in terms of the Bohr’s model of the atom which states Atoms of individual elements emit light at only specific wavelengths, producing a line spectrum and in this there are different series -
Lyman, Balmer,Paschen, Brackett, Pfund , humphery . but in this Balmer line spectrum is visible in visible range so it might be responsible .
the basic idea about this whwn atom in the ground state absorb photons after few of nanoseconds return back to groung state and emit light in the visible range.
Note- might be Fluoroscence Phenomenon but in terms of Bohr model we have only light spectrum.
