Answer #1

If you have 50 mL of 70% nitric acid waste then it is advisable to dispose in Concentrated nitric acid waste.

Because 70% nitric acid is some what concentrated nitric acid, if it was diluted nitric acid then you could dispose it in acid compatible aqueous waste. But in given situation nitric acid is fairly concentrated.

Disposing nitric acid in any base compatible kit is not good because your waste is an acid.

It is neither inorgic or organic solid waste so you should not dispose in inorganic / organic solid waste.

It is not sanitary sewer system is not made to handle concentrated nitric acid. And hence you should not dispose nitric acid in sanitary sewer.

The correct answer is option 10.
