We observe a spontaneous reaction. (Knowing ΔG = ΔH - TΔS) explain teh following arguments: (a) Provide a ΔH argument for why it is a spontanious reaction, (b) Provide a T argument for why it is a spontanious reaction, and (c) Provide a ΔS argument for why it is a spontanious reaction.
Answer – We know the spontaneous reaction means the reaction completed its own.
ΔG = ΔH – TΔS
a) We know, when ΔH is negative then there is spontaneous reaction at low temp and when ΔH is positive then reaction is spontaneous at high temperature.
b) When temperature is high then there is product TΔS, more and there is ΔG is negative, so at high temp when ΔS > 0 and ΔH > 0 then reaction spontaneous. For low temperature when ΔS < 0 and ΔH < 0 then reaction is spontaneous.
c) We know, when ΔS is negative then there is spontaneous reaction always. and when ΔS is positive then reaction is spontaneous at high temperature.
