As it says that only one NMR singnal appears i.e. all protons are alike and that is possible only when two similar groups are located around the ketonic group. let me show theimage of compond.

The CH3 are singles so there aren't any adjacent CHs. Attach them all to the same carbon? Okay, but that is only 4-carbons. Where are the rest? If the molecule were symmetrical, double it. Now you are missing a C and an O. I'd put a C=O between them and try that.
