Number of hydrogens atoms are found by using following formula.
CnH2n+2
When there are n number of carbons in alkane then number of hydrogen should be = 2n+2
Lets calculate number of hydrogen should be there with C=3
Number of hydrogen = 2 x 3 + 2 = 8 H
Since there is double bond which we subtract two H from total since double bond is formed by reduction of two hydrogens.
Now we have total H = 8 – 2= 6
When ring is formed then also we have to subtract two H since when ring is formed then there is should be removal of two H
So total number of hydrogens =6-2= 4
Ans : 4 H
