why is the freezing of water called a physical change?
As we know that water will exist in 3 phases like solid, liquid and vapor and it will inter change between these 3 phases at different conditions without changing the composition.
It means that in a physical change there is no change in internal composition (H2O) and physical properties like shape temperature, state color etc only will change .
So, freezing of water is a physical change
Where as in chemical changes, internal composition will change Ex: Rusting of Iron
