Answer #1

Electroencephalograph is the instrument that measure the electrical activity of brain. The recording is presented in the form of electrocardiogram.

The methof is usually impolyed in the diagnosis of clinical disorders such as epilepsy , sleeping disorders , coma , brain death , effect of anesthesia , encephalopathies etc.

It is also used to detect the brain tumors , strokes and other focal brain disorders.

The EEG of normal brain has four kinds of waves namely alpha , beta , gamma and theta that vary in their frequency.
