Why does the amount of O2 gas produced eventually plateau as you continue to add more H2O2?

Answer #1

Ans:- When hydrogen peroxide (H2O2, sold to the public as a 3% (m/m) solution in water as adisinfectant for cuts) is mixed with bleach (active ingredient is sodium hypochlorite,NaOCl, sold to the public as a 6% (m/m) solution in water), oxygen gas (O2) is one ofthe products. In this experiment, you will measure the volume of oxygen gas producedwhen known amounts of hydrogen peroxide are mixed with known amounts of bleach.Based on the moles ofreactantsused (bleach and hydrogen peroxide) and the volumeof oxygen gas produced (product), you will determine thestoichiometry(mole ratio) ofthe reactants of the chemical reaction.

. When you add salt (NaCI) to water it completely ionizes in the solvent. -If you continue to add salt to the solvent, the salt eventually stops ionizing in the solution. Conceptually explain why this happens. -If you increase the temperature of the solution a higher amount of salt ionizes in solution. Conceptually explain why this happens.

The Activity A team of researchers is interested in testing the amount of oxygen gas (O2) produced when the same species of plant is exposed to different colors of visible light. The research team has developed a hypothesis to test and designed experimental conditions to run. They have submitted the work to you for feedback and approval. Your job is to provide feedback concerning both the hypothesis and the experimental design. This will enable them to make the necessary changes...
