when Cr(OH)3(s) comes into contact of rain water , then Cr(OH)3(s) dissolves in rain water

and after that Cr(OH)3 dissociates into its constituents ions Cr3+ and OH- ions

the  the equilibrium reactions for Cr(OH)3 (s) solubility in rain water is given as:

Cr(OH)3(s) <-----> Cr(OH)3 (aq) <------------> Cr^3+ (aq) + 3 OH- (aq)

and

the equilibrium constant for this reaction is given as :

Ksp = [Cr3+]*[OH-]^3
