Answer #1

The questions the scientists and doctors must be investigating the infectivity, spread from person to person, how long the virus can tay in the air or on the surfaces etc.

The virus is considered to be passed on one person to another through droplet. But how long the virus remains in the air and how far the virus can reach through the drop let , is most imortant for spreading of the disease.

Once it enters the body how the virus is gaining access in to the cell is also another important investigation to be studied. The spikes present on the virus are important to enter in to he cell. So any drugs that are made, should target the spikes, so that more viruses will not be able to enter in to the body.

Next would be the effect the virus causes, once it enters in to the cells of the body. First the virus is present in the upper respiratory system like nasal passages and throat. If the virus can be restricted to this region, there is not much danger to the person. But once it reaches the lungs, it damages the lungs and disease becomes life threatening. So the control of the disease in initial stages is important.

Lastly to prevent death and how effectively the critical care need to be taken to prevent damage to the body and also death of the individual.
