We know that yeast undergo respiration of ethanol as well as glucose giving acetic acid as by product. By fermentation yeast alcohol is prepared. Fermentation is an anaerobic (no oxygen-requiring) pathway for breaking down glucose.

Coenocytic-multinucleate: Coenocytic is an organism made up of multinucleate cytoplasmic mass enclosed by a one cell wall in certain slime molds, fungi, and algae. So they both relate to each other.
