These turtles typically eat sea grasses with the chlorophyll
coloring their fat.
55. Prized for their scutes (tortoiseshell). Live along coral
reefs throughout tropical oceans, feed on sponges.
56. One of the smallest sea turtle species. Nest in arribadas
with an estimated population of about 800,000 females.
57. One of the smallest sea turtle species. Nest in arribadas
only along the coast of Tamaulipas, Mexico. The female population
is estimated to be 7,000-9,000 individuals.
