The active transport is used to transport new protein. ctive transport is the type of movement of substances across the plasma membrane against its concentration gradient.Unlike channel proteins which can only transport the substances through the membranes passively, carrier proteins can is able to transport ions & molecules either passively through the process of facilitated diffusion / via secondary active transport.The most common types of active transport include proteins as pumps. The word pump used to indicate the force that required for the molecules to transport and energy from the ATP molecule is necessary for the membrane proteins to transport or move substances such as molecules or ions through the membrane, usually against its concentration gradients (from low concentration to high concentration area).
