Ans- This task can be accomplished by inserting some gene which can produce glo protein. In bacteria and yeast this can be simply achieved by inserting the glo producing gene with the help of gene gun method or gene bombardment method.

In fruitflies and plants this can be achieved by using a Ti plasmid or some other plasmid which will be having this glo gene.

Before insertion this specific gene should be tagged with florophore which will make it able to show fluoroscence otherwise the whole process will be in vain.
