Explanation:- The gene regulation is an important mechanism that allow allows specific genes to get activated and inactivated in specific cell types. For example hemoglobin gene is present in all the cells but its expression happens only in RBC's. This is facilitated by specific transcription factors, silencers, activators , repressors, enhancers etc. present in specific cells that allow expression of genes in specific tissues. In eukaryotes gene regulation occurs at transcription, post transcription and post translational level allowing diferential gene regulation.
