BASIC MICROSCOPE USE: Suppose someone gives you a slide and tells you to look at it using the high-power (40x) objective. In what order will you carry out the following steps (put the steps in order please):

- Make sure the microscope's light soure is on, then put the slide on the stage.

-Slowly turn the 40X objective into position.

-Slowly turn the 10X objective into position.

-While looking through the eyepieces and with the 4X objective in place, use the coarse focus knob to bring the stage up.

-Use the fine focus knob to adjust the focus with the 10X objective.

-Look from the side of the stage and make suue the light is shining through the specimen.

-Use the fine focus knob to adjust the focus with the 40X objective.

-Once focused with the 4X objective, move the stage back down so you don't bang the the 10X objective into the slide.

--So, there should be ONLY 7 steps that are put in order. ONLY 1 of the steps should NOT be used at all.
