from what we know about extremophiles living on planet Earth, in extreme environments, what does it say about possible life on other planets? give 3 example.
Please give a thumbs up.
Extremophiles are the organisms which can live in extreme conditions. They can easily adapt and thrive in the hottest temperature and the most acidic or basic environment. This shows that the the living organisms are not only confined to a few temperature ranges but there are wide varieties of organisms which can live in any conditions. Which means the planet closest to the sun which is mercury may also have life on it like extremophiles etc. Similarly this shows that there is a high chance of life on many other planets even without normal temperature and oxygen conditions like that on earth. Three examples of extremophiles are
Picrophilus torridus which lives in hot and acidic conditions, Pompeii worm which lives in extreme hot conditions and the Antarctic krills which can live in extreme cold conditions.
