In case of Zea mays, each grain is itself a fruit and both male and female sex are present in same plant.

In case of Eichornia, it generally occurs as aquatic plant and has fragile stem so nodes bears tuft of roots and rossete of leaves to anchorage. Internodes are small.

In case of Cucurbita, it has fleshy fruit and bicollateral vascular bundle. It has aerial modification of stem . Axillary bud form tendrils.

In case of Acacia spinescens, stem modified into thorn. Lamina of the leaf is reduced and petioles become leaf like green and do photosynthesis.
