A second factor is the type of nutrition in the form of diet obtained by these individuals. Poor nutrition can lead to poor bone growth and development. It can also give rise to short phenotype. Besides it, certain other parameters should be measured like level of corticosteroid hormones, parathyroid hormone and calcitonin.
