The presence of specialized cells is the similarity in histology between the pancreas and the testes. In the pancreas, we can see acinar cells and centroacinar cells as a part of the exocrine pancreas while in testes we can see Sertoli cells and spermatogenic cells. Microscopic view of endocrine pancreas will show A,B,D and PP cells. Secretory units called pancreatic acini is found in exocrine pancreas which bear cells such as acinar and centroacinar. Secretory units called islets of langerhans are the ones that are found as a part of endocrine pancreas which has specialised cells as mentioned earlier.

Testes histology shows 3 layers such as tunica vaginalis, tunica albuginea, and tunica vasculosa. There are numerous testicular lobules which bears seminiferous tubules where specialised cells as mentioned earlier is found.
