1- Tumor - cancer or benign tumor can cause server Haring loss.this includes acoustic neuroma, paraganlioma,and meningioma.

2- Trauma injury like a skull fracture or a punctured eardrum can cause server Haring loss.

3- Illness or infection - Measles ,mumps , syphilis and meingitis are just a few of the condition that can cause hearing loss.

4- Loud Noise - the blare of power tools, airplanes,or loud music on headphone,for example ,can damage hair cells in chochlea .how much sound and how long you were arround it.

5- Age As people got older ,some parts in the ear become less elastic .the tiny hairs get damaged and can't respond to sound Waves as well.hearing loss get worse over several years
