Dental arcade shape - it it is the shape made by the rows of teeth in the upper jaw. Human beings have more V shaped dental arcade shape.

Canines - they have sharp, pointy surface for tearing the food.

Premolars - they are bigger than incisors and canines. They have a flat surface with ridges for crushing and grinding food into smaller pieces to make it easier to swallow.

Molars - their large surface area helps in grinding up the food. It breaks food into pieces samll enough for you to swallow.

Diastema presence and location - diastema refers to a gap or space between the teeth. It is most common between incisors and molars.
