One morning you walk into warehouse to start putting price tags on new arrivals and observed a colleague quickly take some jewelry items and put them in her jacket’s pocket. Your colleague does not see that you have entered into the warehouse. What are you going to do in this situation? Are you going to say something to your colleague or inform your supervisor? First and foremost step that can be taken by an individual in such a situation should be to confront their respective colleague regarding the matter. The colleague must be asked the reason that pursued him to take such an action. The colleague must be talked out to keep the jewellery back in its original place. In case the colleague refuses to do so, it is better to approach the supervisor and the matter must be explained to him.

Implications of the decision:

· The respective colleague may resign from the job because of the fear of loosing his goodwill.

· The supervisor after knowing about the robbery may terminate the services of the employee.
