Sustainability has rapidly increasing on the investment and business agendas of property (real estate) organisations in recent times. It is mainly due to the interconnected reasons, such as the emergence of new risks due to the consequences of extreme weather events, public and governmental concerns about climate change, and energy price escalation. This has resulted to gradual shifts in market participant preferences and value systems. Thus sustainability metrics led to affect internal (managerial) decision making. Sustainability metrics measure, quantify, and benchmark environmental performance. Thus is important for internal (managerial) decison making to analyse the impact of sustainability issues on corporate goals and economic success factors. The oversight and control of extended information flows within a company needs to be considered while making the decisions
