The situation here is truly terrible as the position of the employee here is at a default as she is not paying her child support as the court ordered. There has been an another order of a garnishment of the same employee.
Garnishment order here means that the wages/salary of the employee are seized as to satisfy others debt.

From the viewpoint of the child the situation here have been favourable as now she would receive money for her own leaving but the employee at the same time would get into trouble as she would not be receiving any money from the employer.

No, the employee cannot be fired as their is an order of garnishment. So, till all the debt of the third party are paid off the employer cannot fire any employee even though the employees at fault.
