Mike is under no delusion that the three states he wishes to sign with do not en- force a state income tax, however because of his job, it does not mean that he will not be forced to pay some kind of state income tax. Even though his club would be located in a state free of income tax, he will be playing and earning money in other states that do impose state income taxes. One characteristic of some state income taxes, also know as the jock tax, is when “states also purport to tax the income of nonresidents who earn income within the state on an itinerant basis.” Because Mike is a football player in the NFL and will be traveling to other states to play games, and essentially earn an in- come, there is a chance he will endure the income taxes of those states that impose a state income tax

Answer #1

As mike is under no delusion that states in which he perform will not impose income tax on income earned by him, he will not going to liable for the same, however he is liable to pay some kind of state income tax,

However he will also play in other states in which there is no agreement of for not imposing any income tax,so he would have been liable for pay tax in those states, so he is liable for those states with which there is no agreement

So mike has to pay the state income tax on income earned from those staes that impose state income tax, so there is chance to endure of impsoing state income tax.
