Answer :-

Comprehensive income is the changes in equity from sources other than those directly attributable to owners like investment by them in equity as well as distribution of dividend to them. Please note that all those changes either enhances or reduces the value of equity and their claim in business and this, is like income or losses for them which either increases their share or decrease their share. This, it is shown as comprehensive income and not only shown as disclosure in notes.
