I had a similar thing when I was young. I am dead sure what I saw was not a figment of my imagination though. My mom had some of her church friends come and pray in the house, and somehow that worked. Weird but true. Whatever faith you are, maybe you can try something similar - some cleansing ritual, even if only for the psychological benefit of your daughter.
