Two headed snakes are an anomaly but very real.

Having two heads is a major hindrance to the snake, as that means adapting to synchronize movement and feeding. This is why they don't generally live very long in the wild. They're like albinos, their traits hurt their chances of surviving.

If a predator comes, both heads have to decide to escape in the same direction or else they're done for.
