I bought this lamp "as is," not noticing the non-displaced fractured glass on the shade that wasn't visable until we turned it on. Should we put super glue or something else along the crack line? Or mabe some other product that would tolerate the heat of the lamp better?

If it isn't falling out, just leave it. Put that side where you don't see it. Some of those Tiffany-style lamps are just about impossible to fix. If you want to find out, go to a stained glass shop and ask. The glass shouldn't get very hot when the lamp is on.
