An intermittent squeak.. every 20 seconds or so... dead/dying battery.

A loud audible alarm - no smoke, no fire - can be caused by flyspray or hairspray, or perhaps dust particulates.

Usually it's burning toast.

Ours is hooked up to our security alarm. When we burn toast.. security guys come in a hurry... lol! And the sound is deafening - 120+dB. It hurts.
