I mean I am fine when I am at home all day with my dad. My dad really isnt there though if you know what I mean. He usually has dosed off. I am fine when I am alone, and I can be in the best of moods. But right when my mom gets home and she greets me, I just get really really depressed. I dont know why, and it makes me feel bad to feel that way when I am around her. I am on anti depressants, 150mg of effexor and it is doing wondeful things for me so I dont think that would be a reason. I dont know what it could be. Thank you for your help.

I am 39++ years of age and still feel the same way. However, I did find the reason after a lot of talk therapy and prayerful meditation. The very best thing you can do for yourself is to find a good therapist for your age group and make an appointment and keep going until you learn how to cope with your feelings. I read a book, "My Mother, My Self" a lot of years ago and I felt the author knew everything I felt! Although, it would be best if you got some good sound therapy first. The book is a little too real and gut wrenching for some. Do yourself a favor, get the help now before you're 50 and resentful of your mother and just a miserable person. There is life after mom!
