HG and SS has come out in Jap (Yay) who has the game. I got the game but don't understand it who else does and doesn't

Calm it.I didn't get the Japanese version this year.These games are remakes,not a third version of two previous versions,and I would like to understand the game fully before getting them.Why couldn't you have waited for the American/Australian version first?I see it as a stupid move.
