Sure, I do it now. Your regular TV antenna will work, but bear this in mind:

1. HDTV signals are **digital** broadcast, not the usual analog broadcast. That means you will need a digital TV receiver to get the signal. BUT, the signals are broadcast in unused channels in the same UHF band that normal analog TV uses. So make sure the UHF part of your antenna is top notch.

2. I also use a mast-mounted low noise pre-amp, which helps a lot as I am in an exurban area.
