I know is more about thickness and how long the board is, but my question is: is there any kind of tail that makes easier to paddle a wave?

Yes board thickness and length of the surfboard effect the paddling speed. No, the tail design isn't going to make it easier to paddle for a wave. The most important aspect of paddling speed is simply paddling fitness. The biggest thing you can do is focus on paddle fitness and paddling form. If I've been out of the water for more than two weeks, I can feel the difference in my speed and endurance as I am paddling for a wave and I'll miss waves that I would normally have caught.
