I have bought a pair of headphones from orange for £20 under a 2 year warranty from cygnett. I have owned them for 1 year and now they have broken due to a mechanical failure. What are my rights as a buyer?

If the product is defective, and not simply broken by misuse, you have the right to a repair, replacement or refund at the merchant's choice, unless otherwise specified in a written warranty.
