I'm going to use roach bomb stuff and I need to cover my tv and I don't have the plastic cover that the tv came with and its a flat screen and I want to protect it from the chemical from the bug bombs and I was wondering what I could cover it with.

The age of the blanket has nothing to do with static, It is a lack of humidity in the air. You can run the blankets, that you plan to use, in the dryer with several Bounce sheets. Just wash the blankets and/or sheets afterwords. Don't forget to run all your dishes in the dishwasher.
