I had all four wisdom teeth extracted 12 days ago. I was off the prescribed medication 3 days after surgery. I have since taken otc pain killers, ibuprofen, Advil, stuff like that. I have to take it everyday because its still a little sore. The doctor said that was normal. My question is will I have some kind of problem if I take these otc pain killers any longer? I only take the recommended dosage but you aren't supposed to take it for an extended period of time right?

You can keep taking whatever helps. While it's not good to take big doses indefinitely, it's okay for a few weeks. Having all 4 wisdom teeth out is a big deal, so take what you need to take.
