I'm American. Are people in these countries friendly & well-disposed toward Americans, or are they sick of us?

And can you rank them in terms of friendliness?

(I know it's a really general question, but you do find trends from one country to another)

I love this Question!!
I'm English, I live in Wales, I have Irish relatives by marriage and Scottish ancestors.
You will find good and bad everywhere.
Mostly Welsh, Irish and Scottish universally despise the English (mostly for sporting occasions).
Don't refer to Scot's as Scotch - this is a drink!
Be nice but not gushy.
Don't believe you are dressing for Hawaii (Loud shirts etc.)
Take a waterproof coat with a hood - an umbrella may be blown inside out!
If you don't like the weather - wait half an hour!
Some people you will get on with, some you won't. We British tend towards the Human on the whole but you do get exceptions!
In Wales it is nice to attempt the words "thank you" in Welsh - Diolch (pronounced dioc).
Come and visit and make up your own mind.
