When I ride my bicycle what muscles do I work out, and does it help me reduce weight in the abdominal area?

When you ride, you are working all the muscles in your legs and buttocks.

As for the abs; any aerobic exercise will burn fat all over your body. You can't target one area of fat unless you do it surgically. You will eventually lose the belly fat if you consume less calories than you use. If you exercise your stomach muscles then your tummy will look firmer, but it will not actually have less fat on it.
