An employer wondered whether a new method of assembly would result in lower average assembly times. Currently the average assembly time is 70.4 minutes. The employer randomly assigned 10 employees to the new method and the mean assembly time was 65.7 minutes with a standard deviation of 7.82 minutes. Test at the 0.025 level of significance whether the new method would lower the average assembly time.
