2. Draw 5 cards from a standard deck (without replacement) and count the number of diamonds.

3. A television manufacturer states that particular type of its televisions has a probability of 0.01 of being defective and that each television is independent of all others. A store receives a shipment of 50 such televisions and counts the number of defective televisions.

4. At the manufacturing plant mentioned in the last problem, the quality control manager checks each television coming off the production line until he finds 5 defective sets.
