Answer #1

No. of Men in company = 300

No. of women in company = 200

Total people in company = 300 + 200 = 500

No. of Women in senior management = 30% of total women = 60 women

No. of Women not in senior management = 200-60 = 140

No. of Men in senior management = 20% of total men = 60 men

Now a person who is a senior manager or a women can be --> a senior women, a senior men, a non senior women

Total no. of Senior manager or a women = 60 + 60 + 140 = 260 people

So , the probability of a person being a senior manager or women is =
