Answer #1

When the study is such that it was observed in its natural phenomenon it is said to be observational. If the data is collected in a controlled environment but not in the natural environment then it is said to be an experimental study.

A medical researcher is interested in testing a new medicine for migraine headaches.

50 selected adults are given new medicine.

This is an experiment because treatment is being given.

Please give me a thumbs-up if this helps you out. Thank you!
