In box and whisker plot, the ends of boxes represents the first and third quartiles and the end of the whiskers shows the minimum and maximum values, as shown below.

When all values except the maximum value are the same, all points except the maximum value in boxplot will remain the same in both boxplots. In the boxplot corresponding to data set B, the maximum value will is 3 times larger and hence, the whisker will be longer for boxplot B in the right side. A tentative representation is given below for reference.
