Yes. It's very important to know the basic knowledge of statistical concept because if have handling any data or working on a data the statistics is very useful for extracting the more information from the data, shape of the data, to know the more information about data it is related to data;

Now in day to day life we the statistics for bool testing we use sampling method because we cannot tests the all blood.

statistics is also used in agricultural for assigning the fertilizers to a particular crop for increasing the growth and also profit

we use statistics in banking sector also for predicting the future profit or saving of money using regression analysis mostly used In a shear market for predicting the future cost/price of shears or future value of a particular company shears.
