Total solar power generated at a certain site each month over a span of years

The intensity of solar radiation varies from season to season and hence, there will be fluctuation in power generated over a year. The trend cannot be observed if we take values over a time period of an hour or only in some months in a year. If the data is measured as yearly average, the monthly fluctuations won't be reflected in that.  So, to understand the trend, there should be monthly values as well as yearly values. In the above data, monthly variation as well as yearly variation will be recorded and hence, it will be an excellent candidate if you were looking to show a trend in the data.
